No. Per current building codes, the lower-level bathroom vent fan is required to run continuously to help control moisture and improve air quality.

Yes. If you would like Redstone Properties to make a copy of a unit, building, or mailbox key (if applicable), a $5 per key charge will be added to your ledger.

Slow draining is most commonly caused by hair buildup in the drain. You can usually resolve this by using a drain snake or hair removal tool, which are available at most grocery or hardware stores.

Furnace filters are replaced twice per year. Water filters are replaced once per lease term at no additional cost. Additional replacement filters may be requested for $50 per filter.

We recommend running your garbage disposal once per week to prevent it from seizing. If it is not working, try pressing the reset button on the bottom of the unit and ensure it is properly plugged in.

Some of our properties use a boiler heating system, which can make individual temperature adjustments limited. If you are too warm, try opening a window slightly. If you are too cool, a space heater may help provide additional warmth.

If your kitchen faucet is leaking, try tightening the hose connection to the sprayer head. This applies to faucets at Broadview, Eden Forest, Michigan Street, The Vue, and Ventura Townhouses.

The administrative fee is $75 per person over the age of 18. This fee is non-refundable and covers the cost of processing your application.

The holding fee is a one-time charge of $250 that removes the unit from the market while your application is processed. If approved, this amount is applied toward your security deposit. If your application is not approved, the fee will be refunded.

If the unit is available for immediate move-in, it can be held off the market for up to 14 days before you become responsible for rent. If the unit is not yet available, it can be held for 14 days starting from the date it becomes move-in ready.

At move-in, you will be responsible for paying your security deposit, prorated rent, and a non-refundable pet fee if you are bringing a pet.

The security deposit is a minimum of $1,000 or one month’s base rent, depending on the results of your application through our third-party screening service.

Approval is not based on a specific credit score. Applications are reviewed through a third-party provider, and approval decisions consider multiple factors beyond credit score alone.

Move-in costs include your full security deposit, prorated rent, and prorated water charges (plus any optional items such as parking, garage, storage, or pet rent). If you move in on or after the 25th of the month, you will also need to pay the following month’s rent and water charges at move-in.

Monthly water fees are based on apartment size:

  • Studio: $20/month
  • One-bedroom: $30/month
  • Two-bedroom: $40/month
  • Three-bedroom: $65/month
